The Evergreen Legacy: A Timeline

Key events of The Evergreen Legacy up to Aurora’s arrival in Sunset Valley. These are accurate as of the most recent chapter in the story and will change as more is revealed and clarified.

• 1919
  – Samuel and Victor Goth receive Sunset Valley from The Benefactor
  – Samuel and Victor sign the Contract promising ten further generations of the Goth family will take care of Sunset Valley
  – Reginald Evergreen is born

• 1938 – Samuel Goth commissions Goth Manor for Victor’s 40th birthday

• 1939 – Victor Goth marries Gretle Gatlin, she moves into Goth Manor

• 1940
  – Gunther Goth is born
  – Gretle and Samuel fall in love and have an affair

• 1942 – Victor learns of the affair and Samuel is exiled
  – Frida Goth is born

• c. 1944 – Chester and Queenie Landgraab move to Sunset Valley

• 1958 – Reginald Evergreen arrives in Sunset Valley

• 1960 – Reginald and Frida are engaged
  – Frida jilts Reginald and flees to Moonlight Falls
  – Gretle casts the curse preventing Frida from returning
  – Victoria Goth is born

• 1961 – Samuel, Olivia, and Frida Goth die
  – Reginald leaves Sunset Valley for Moonlight Falls and speaks with Frida
  – Reginald travels to Al Simhara, Egypt, in search of a cure and a way to resurrect the dead

• 1962 – Reginald travels to Shang Simla, China, in search of life fruit

• 1963 – Reginald travels to Champs Les Sims, France, and meets Admiral Landgraab

• 1964 – Reginald moves on to Twinbrook in search of Steward Curious, renowned Scientist

• 1967 – Reginald arrives in Riverblossom Hills

• 1968 – Reginald marries Celia Witton

• 1969 – James Evergreen is born

• 1990 – James Evergreen marries Sarah Highland

• 1991 – Aurora Evergreen is born

• c. 1993 – Victoria convinces Gunther to use Aurora to break the curse
  – Gunther persuades Sarah and James to send Aurora to Sunset Valley on her 18th birthday

• 2009 – Aurora Evergreen moves to Sunset Valley

Thanks to a certain curse, time isn’t recorded properly in Sunset Valley and it is uncertain how quickly or slowly time passes for the generations beyond Aurora’s. I intend to update a story timeline when more of the story has been revealed, so watch this space!
