Temple of Queen Hatshepsut & Bazaar Basement: The Sims 3 World Adventures Tomb Walkthrough

This is the tomb walkthrough for the In Search of Love Opportunity chain, completing both the Bazaar Basement and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut tombs, locating both the Egyptian Sigil of Queen Hatshepsut and the Bazaar Basement in Al Simhara

In Search of Love -> Teach Him to Cook

“In need of romantic advice and assistance in proving a historical rumour for my friend. We will pay well for a well rounded applicant. Adventurous Casanovas only to apply! Speak to Helmi Hosni if interested.” 
Objective: Apply for Job with Helmi Hosni

Your Sim will be asked to complete a few tasks prior to accessing the tomb, they will need to speak to Hassan, find 3 pieces of Alabaster, read a book and report back to Helmi.

The Key to Her Heart

“You have read the book so you know how worthless it is. Anyway, while Hassan Badawi has been wasting our time, I’ve been doing some digging and found out that one of Queen Hatshepsut’s secret lairs is beneath one of the houses in this very town! You should go check it out for clues.”
Objective: Enter the secret hideout of Queen Hatshepsut and recover anything of use there

Inspect the hole in the ground outside the Ameen Household and go downstairs.

Room One

  1. Take the crescent keystone from the pedestal and insert it into the panel.
  2. Retrieve the keystone from a chest in the next room.
  3. Report in.

Love in the Servants’ Quarters

“This key, I’ve seen this symbol before outside another area. I’ll bet this opens up the servant’s quarters for the Queen. There are sure to be more clues there. I’d like you to enter the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, explore the Servants’ Quarters, and bring back any clues you find there to me.”
Objective: Enter the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, explore the Servants’ Quarters and bring any clues found in chests to Hassan Badawi.

Room One

  1. Insert the keystone into the panel.
  2. Go downstairs two levels.

Room Two

  1. Open the chest in the first room on the right to retrieve treasure, and inspect the hole in the wall in the second room on the left.
  2. Inspect the walls on both end rooms; the left will reveal a chest with treasure and the right a room with a staircase.
  3. Go downstairs, through the door, and retrieve the relic from the chest.
  4. Deliver the relic.

Promoting Anwar -> Online Dating + Helmi Hosni = <3

Your Sim will be sent on additional tasks. They will need to spread good rumours to five Sims, explore the Marketplace Bazaar (below) and take a photo of Helmi.

  1. Insert the keystone into the panel in the marketplace tomb.
  2. Inspect the hole in the floor to reveal a floor switch and pull the statue onto it to unlock the door at the opposite end.
  3. Go through the door and downstairs.

Market Bazaar Room Two

  1. Go through all of the doors to collect treasure.
  2. The Egyptian Sigil of the Bazaar Basement is located behind a hidden door next to the two piles of ancient coins and chest in the centre of this image.
  3. Stand on the floor switch to unlock doors.
  4. Pull the statue on the left onto the floor switch, walk around to push the statue onto the next floor switch.
  5. I used Zeneport to get behind the first statue to go through the doors and up the stairs.
  6. Go down the stairs and through the door to retrieve the relic from the chest.
  7. Deliver the relic.

Love Laid to Rest

“Hassan Badawi did what?! I won’t stand for this. Please do not help me with my love life any more! I can’t be helped, but Hassan Badawi can. There was indeed another keystone in the Relic you previously delivered and we believe it leads into the Queen’s personal chambers at her temple! If there is proof to be found, it will be found there. Please go and check it out and bring back anything useful to Hassan Badawi.”
Objective: Enter Queen Hatshepsut’s private chambers at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and deliver any clues found in chests to Hassan Badawi.

Return to the temple and insert the keystone into the panel. Go downstairs.

Room One

  1. Inspect the wall to reveal a hidden door with a treasure chest.
  2. Go through the door to the statues, move them until one is on the floor switch to unlock the door.

Room Two

  1. Go through the arch ways and pull the statue onto the floor switch.
  2. Go through the double doors and stand on the floor switch to reveal a staircase.
  3. Walk back around and go downstairs.

Room Three

  1. Move the statues onto the floor switches to unlock the door.
  2. Go through the door and stand on the floor switch to reveal another switch.
  3. Pull one of the statues onto that new switch to reveal a staircase.
  4. Go downstairs and through the door.

Room Four

  1. Open the chest to reveal a hidden door, go through this and collect the crescent keystone from the chest.
  2. Pull the statue onto the floor switch to unlock the door on the right, go through this door and insert the keystone into the panel.
  3. Take the Marketplace Storage Key #5 from the Chest.
  4. Collect the keystone to the Queen’s personal chambers and insert that into the panel at the far end of the room.
  5. Go through the door and upstairs.

Final Room

  1. Collect the book from the chest.
  2. Collect the Egyptian Sigil of Queen Hatshepsut from the second chest.
  3. Go upstairs to exit and deliver the relic.
